Maintenance Technician Trainee – Earn While You Learn!

What You’ll Do:

Develop Hands-On Maintenance Skills

• Learn from the Service Manager and Property Manager to build a strong foundation in apartment maintenance.
• Assist in diagnosing and repairing HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and appliance issues.
• Help with unit turnovers, including trash removal, apartment make ready repairs and helping with final inspections.
• Help with work orders, including assessing issues based on work order description and resolving for resident satisfaction.

Support Property Operations & Grounds Maintenance

• Maintain property grounds and common areas by assisting with trash removal and general upkeep.

Gain Experience in Equipment & Preventative Maintenance

• Observe and participate in preventative maintenance of property equipment and property.
• Assist in repairing appliances, electrical systems, and plumbing fixtures under supervision.

Contribute to Special Projects

• Help with painting, landscaping, and curb appeal enhancements.
• Maintain an organized maintenance shop and track inventory supplies.
• We’ll pay for your EPA & CPO certifications.
• We’ll provide structured training throughout.

What We’re Looking For:

• Eagerness to learn: You don’t need experience – we just need your commitment to learning and growing!
• Some technical or mechanical knowledge: Is a plus but not required.
• Dependability: Show up ready to learn and contribute to the team.
• Willingness to work indoors and outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license: A valid driver’s license is required to help with property maintenance tasks.

Starting Pay: $18.00 per hour. Pay will increase as your skills grow.
