Job summary

TRG Management is seeking a Maintenance Technician to support apartment communities across Fort Myers, FL. You will perform daily service requests, prepare vacants, and assist with ongoing upkeep of interior and exterior spaces to preserve property appearance and safety.

Responsibilities cover painting, cleaning, carpet care, HVAC and plumbing tasks as needed, with an emphasis on reliability, teamwork, and timely completion of duties. Competitive base salary plus bonus and full benefits offered.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 months related experience or training preferred.
• Ability to perform manual maintenance tasks and follow safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily service requests and prepare vacant apartments for new move-ins.
• Paint, clean, and perform carpet cleaning to maintain unit appearance.
• Assist with overall property upkeep, including exterior spaces and common areas.

Other duties may be assigned.DAILY:Performs service request as required. Prepares vacant apartments for new move-ins. The work includes the maintenance of the unit, painting, cleaning and carpet cleaning. Maintains the property appearance.WEEKLY:In addition to these duties listed above, may perform other maintenance related duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.MONTHLY:Assists in ordering supplies for the property.ANNUALLY:Performs preventative maintenance duties as outlined in an annual Preventative Maintenance Program developed by the Maintenance Supervisor.Items such as replacements of air conditioning filters, cleaning air conditioning coils flushing hot water heaters, etc. Performs other maintenance-related duties as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.OTHER DUTIES:1. Receives written work orders or verbal instructions from supervisor.2. Cuts grass and trims weeds on organization’s property, if necessary.3. Digs flower beds and plants flowers, if necessary.4. Constructs decorative flower garden borders from wood, if necessary.5. Cleans internal areas of buildings, including dusting, sweeping, and mopping.6. Washes windows.7. Empties trash cans and consolidates trash for weekly pickup.8. Paints interior and exterior walls and trim.9. Repairs parking lot and sidewalks with asphalt, cold patching materials, and concrete.10. Maintains and repairs buildings’ plumbing and electrical systems, including replacing worn ordefective parts such as switches and fuses.11. Maintains and repairs wood parts of buildings.12. Replaces worn or damaged parts such as hoses, wiring, and belts, in machines and equipment such astruck, street sweeper and other equipment used within the maintenance department.13. Assists other departments with moving furniture and unloading and storing supplies.14.
