Apartment Management Professionals, LLC (AMP Residential) is hiring a Maintenance Technician for The Valley Townhomes in Grand Rapids, MI. The role focuses on maintaining a safe, attractive property, handling service requests, and supporting make-ready turnover for vacant units.

You’ll work with a team, follow preventive maintenance plans, and ensure top-tier resident service. Candidates should have 1–2 years in property management or facilities maintenance, a valid driver's license, and EPA/CPO

Qualifications

• 1-2 years of experience in property management/facilities maintenance.
• EPA Universal certification and/or CPO highly preferred.
• Valid Driver's License with auto insurance.
• Excellent customer service with strong communication and organization.
• Must be able to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.

Responsibilities

• Prepare vacant apartment homes for occupancy by making repairs.
• Complete work orders in occupied homes with fast, friendly service.
• Follow preventive maintenance guidelines.
• Maintain property grounds and common areas.
• Assist with apartment make-ready process and turnover.
• Be available after hours and weekends for on-call responsibilities.

This individual will maintain relationships with other service staff, residents and vendors. Some key responsibilities will include providing the highest level of customer service, make regular inspections of grounds and buildings as part of a preventative maintenance plan, complete service requests and assist with the apartment make-ready process.
