Job summary

Mercy Housing is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers on-site. The role focuses on cleanliness, customer service, and maintaining a hazard-free environment in our housing communities.

Pay is $22-24/hour depending on experience. Benefits include PTO, health plans, 403b with match, parental and caregiver leave, and more. Eligible for paid volunteer time and life insurance.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent is required.
• Knowledge of basic building maintenance is beneficial.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid license and insurance).

Responsibilities

• Complete work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Cleans up after work is complete.
• Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
• Cleans apartments during turnover process, as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Maintenance Technician

The successful Maintenance Technician will complete preventative maintenance, minor repairs, and apartment turnovers. As part of the maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring a high standard of cleanliness, customer service, and a hazard-free environment.

This is an on-site position.

Pay

$22-24/hour, depending on experience.

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work.
• Technical training in one or more building trades preferred.
