Job summary

Mercy Housing is seeking an on-site maintenance worker in Paducah, KY. You will perform repairs, painting, plumbing, and electrical tasks to keep apartments ready for tenants.

Responsibilities include completing work orders promptly, cleaning units during turnover, and following supervisor directions. A high school diploma and a valid driver’s license are required; experience in building maintenance is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic building maintenance through training or experience.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle with valid license and insurance.

• Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
• Cleans apartments during turnover process, as directed.

This is an on-site position.

Pay: $20-22/hour, dependent on experience.

Duties

• Completes work orders in a timely and accurate manner. Cleans up after work is complete.
• Performs repairs on the property, including painting, basic carpentry or wall repair, plumbing, and electrical.
• Cleans apartments during turnover process, as directed.
• Other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Knowledge of basic building maintenance required either through training or experience.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle (valid driver's license and insurance).

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of one (1) year in skilled maintenance work.
• Technical training in one or more building trades preferred.
