Job summary

Bader is expanding into Texas and seeks a skilled Maintenance Technician to perform a range of building maintenance tasks across our properties. The role requires handling plumbing, electrical, and general repairs, plus groundskeeping and vacant-unit prep, with a strong emphasis on safety and resident service.

Ideal candidates bring multiple years in high-rise/multi-family settings, pool maintenance, and low-voltage work, and demonstrate reliable, courteous service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Two years experience in High Rise/ Multi-Family
• Two years experience in Pools
• Two years experience in Low Voltage
• Two years experience in Maintenance Technician

Responsibilities

• Provide a variety of skilled building maintenance including repairs to sinks, windows, floors and other parts of the building.
• Maintains the grounds as assigned which may include trash pick-up, shoveling, and sweeping curb/dumpster area, maintaining landscape beds and other areas.
• Preparation of vacant units for occupancy which may include cleaning responsibilities.
• Install, repair (including soldering) and maintain various plumbing; heating and air conditioning fixtures; perform metal fabrication and welding.
• Installation and repair of major and minor appliances (e.g. washer, dryer, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishwashers, etc.).
• Troubleshoot maintenance issues, diagnose problems, replace and/or repair parts, test and make necessary adjustments to ensure issues are resolved.
• Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs as needed.
• Complete minor work orders such as snake toilets/drains, repair/replace leaking faucets, remove/replace caulking, replace different components of toilets, adjust/replace door closures, and replace locks, deadbolts and passage locks.
• Demonstrate courteous and efficient customer service at all times.
