Qualifications

• 3+ years industrial maintenance experience (Tech II) or 8–10+ years (Tech III).
• Strong troubleshooting across electrical, PLC, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to work independently in a production environment.
• Experience with high and low voltage systems, drives, and control wiring.
• Comfortable with automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment.
• Root cause analysis mindset.
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced environment.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to PLCs, controls, and automated equipment.
• Perform preventative and predictive maintenance to ensure optimal equipment performance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and manuals to identify issues.
• Repair or replace defective components and support installation of new equipment.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and communicate updates to leadership.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Partner with operations to reduce downtime and improve production flow.

Job Responsibilities:

What You’ll Be Doing

• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to PLCs, controls, and automated equipment

Required Skills & Qualifications:

What We’re Looking For

• 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (Tech II level) or 8–10+ years (Tech III level)
• Strong troubleshooting experience across electrical, PLC, and hydraulic systems
• Ability to work independently and prioritize issues in a production environment
• Experience with high and low voltage systems, drives, and control wiring
• Comfortable working with automated or semi-automated manufacturing equipment
• Strong problem-solving mindset with a focus on root cause analysis
• Ability to read schematics and technical documentation

Preferred Experience (Varies by Level)

• Advanced troubleshooting and diagnostics experience
• Exposure to CNC equipment, fabrication, or machining environments
• Experience with vibration analysis, NDT, or other predictive maintenance tools
• Prior experience mentoring junior technicians or leading maintenance efforts

Compensation & Schedule

• Compensation is hourly and will be aligned based on experience and level, with Maintenance Technician II roles typically in the $37–$40/hour range and Technician III roles in the $41–$45/hour range.
• This facility operates in a 24/7 manufacturing environment. The standard shift is 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with rotating weekend coverage required. When weekend work is scheduled, technicians are typically given a weekday off within the same week to balance schedules.
