University Partners is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our residential community maintenance team. You will handle work orders, grounds upkeep, and maintain a clean, welcoming environment for residents and staff.

The role requires knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and basic construction, plus a strong service mindset and teamwork. A $750 sign-on bonus is offered; weekend/overtime flexibility is expected.

Competenze

• Experience working with maintenance tasks in a residential setting.
• Ability to operate and maintain basic tools and equipment.
• Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.

Mansioni

• Providing excellent service to residents, guests, employees and contractors.
• Completing all routine service requests within 24 hours under the direction of Maintenance Supervisor.
• Ensuring the clean condition of the community at all times.
• Maintaining the maintenance shop according to policy.
• Reporting maintenance issues to the Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager for review.
• Assisting in other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Spot-cleaning the model and vacant units on a daily basis.

JOBPURPOSE:

Maintenance Technicians perform a variety of responsibilities, including work orders, grounds and common area clean up and maintenance, and maintaining good resident relations.

PRIMARYDUTIES&RESPONSIBILITIES:

Duties and responsibilities will include those specifically assigned by the employee’s immediate supervisor.

• Providingexcellentservicetoresidents,guests,employeesandcontractors.
• Completingallroutineservicerequestswithin24hoursatthedirectionofMaintenanceSupervisor.
• Ensuringthecleanconditionofthecommunityatalltimes.
• Maintainingthemaintenanceshopaccordingtopolicy.
• ReportingmaintenanceissuestotheMaintenanceSupervisorandCommunityManagerforreview.
• AssistinginothertasksasdirectedbytheMaintenanceSupervisor.
• Spotcleaningthemodelandvacantunitsonadailybasis.

Qualifications:

• Workingknowledgeofelectric,plumbing,HVACandbasicconstruction.
• Ageneralmechanicalaptitudecombinedwithawillingnessanddesiretolearn.
• Abilitytoreadandcomprehendsimpleinstructions,shortcorrespondence,andmemos.Ability to write simple correspondence.Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
