Job summary

University Partners is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to join our team and help maintain a safe, comfortable, and welcoming community for residents.

You will perform maintenance work orders, assist with grounds and common areas, and coordinate with the Maintenance Supervisor to keep the property in excellent condition. This role requires a professional demeanor, strong customer service, and the ability to work weekends or overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED, or 0–3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• HVAC certification and valid driver’s license.
• Able to read and comprehend simple instructions, memos, and short correspondence; able to write simple correspondence.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents, guests, employees and contractors.
• Complete routine service requests within 24 hours at direction of Maintenance Supervisor.
• Ensure the community remains clean at all times.
• Maintain the maintenance shop according to policy.
• Report maintenance issues to Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager for review.
• Assist in other tasks as directed by the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Spot-clean the model and vacant units on a daily basis.

JOBPURPOSE

Maintenance Technicians perform a variety of responsibilities, including work orders, grounds and common area clean up and maintenance, and maintaining good resident relations.

PRIMARYDUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Duties and responsibilities will include those specifically assigned by the employee’s immediate supervisor.

• Providingexcellentservicetoresidents,guests,employeesandcontractors.
• Completingallroutineservicerequestswithin24hoursatthedirectionofMaintenanceSupervisor.
• Ensuringthecleanconditionofthecommunityatalltimes.
• Maintainingthemaintenanceshopaccordingtopolicy.
• ReportingmaintenanceissuestotheMaintenanceSupervisorandCommunityManagerforreview.
• AssistinginothertasksasdirectedbytheMaintenanceSupervisor.
• Spotcleaningthemodelandvacantunitsonadailybasis.

Qualifications
