Job summary

MG Properties is seeking a Maintenance Technician for Sterling Village Apartments in Vallejo, CA. The role covers cleaning, basic repairs, and service requests to keep our community well-maintained.

The ideal candidate has experience across trades (plumbing, electrical, A/C) and a customer-focused approach. On-site work, teamwork, and on-call availability are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Prefer at least 2 years experience in apartment maintenance on 200 unit property.
• Experience in plumbing, electrical, and a/c across trades.
• Customer service attitude, flexibility and ability to work in a team.
• Consent to audio recording during work duties.
• Reliable transportation is a MUST.
• Availability to work on-call rotation.

Responsibilities

• Clean grounds, offices and common areas and complete maintenance service requests.
• Perform appliance repairs and routine maintenance tasks.
• Paint and touch up units during turnovers and repairs.
• Respond to emergency calls and on-call duties as assigned.
• Assist with other trades as needed to maintain property quality.
• Coordinate with residents and management to resolve issues promptly.

We are a large regional property management firm looking for an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our team at Sterling Village Apartments, located in Vallejo, CA!

The ideal candidate will have experience in all trades and be very customer service focused. Some duties will include cleaning grounds, offices, common areas, completing maintenance service requests, appliance repairs, painting, apartment turnovers, taking emergency calls and more!

Qualifications

• Prefer at least 2 years experience in apartment maintenance on 200 unit property!
• Experience in all trades (plumbing, electrical, a/c, etc.) a must!
• Customer service attitude, flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment are key to making this position a success!
• As a condition of employment, all employees must acknowledge and consent to the possibility of audio recordings being made during the performance of their work duties.
• Reliable transportation is a MUST!
• Availability to work on-call rotation.

Compensation and Benefits
