Job summary

Cohen-Esrey Communities, LLC. is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Stepping Stone property in South Sioux City, NE. This role requires regular travel between assigned properties and involves responding to repair requests and preparing units for move-ins.

The ideal candidate has maintenance experience, the ability to lift over 25 lbs, and a valid driver’s license. HVAC certification is preferred and background checks will be conducted.

Qualifications

• Must have maintenance experience.
• Ability to bend, stoop, lift, carry, push or pull over 25 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to respond to after-hours emergencies.
• Valid Driver's License.
• Basic tools required, to include personal smartphone technology.
• Knowledge of property management systems and processes.
• Painting, plumbing, and electrical experience.
• Reliable transportation with access to a vehicle for transporting ladders & equipment.

Responsibilities

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring customer fulfillment by responding to maintenance repair requests in a timely manner and preparing vacant units in preparation for new resident move-ins. The Maintenance Technician is an essential team member for Cohen-Esrey to deliver superior customer service to our residents.

Qualifications Must Have:

• Maintenance Experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Proven 1 year of HVAC experience

Compensation*

$20-$23
*Final agreed-upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
