Job summary

Wasatch Property Management, Inc. is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform routine maintenance and respond to service requests across apartment communities in California.

You will troubleshoot electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and painting tasks, keeping resident satisfaction at the forefront. The ideal candidate has at least 1 year hands-on experience, can work independently or as part of a team, and is comfortable with a flexible schedule including weekends and on-call emergencies.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of hands-on maintenance experience (preferred).
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
• Experience with electrical, plumbing, appliances, and heating/air systems is a plus.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units and common areas.
• Respond to resident service requests within 3 hours.
• Troubleshoot and repair electrical, plumbing, carpentry, painting issues.

From HVAC systems to plumbing repairs and cosmetic enhancements, Maintenance Technicians are vital in ensuring resident satisfaction. What you’ll do:

• Perform routine maintenance and repairs on apartment units and common areas.
• Respond to resident service requests in less than 3 hours.
• Troubleshoot and repair plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting issues.

What we're looking for:

• Minimum of 1 year of hands-on general maintenance experience preferred.
• Ability to operate various hand and power tools.
• Experience in repairing and or maintaining at least most of the following:
• Electrical Systems
• Plumbing
• Appliances
• Flooring
• Carpentry
• Heating and air systems
• Pools
• Detail-oriented, flexible, and able to multitask.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Superior customer service skills.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and rotating on‑call responsibility for after‑hours emergencies.

Benefits and Pay Range:

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - 22.00 USD per hour depending on experience, plus quarterly bonus potential!

Candidates starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, and qualifications.
