Job summary

MG Properties in Reno, NV is seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our Silver Lake property team. This on-site role requires hands-on trade skills and a strong customer-service mindset to keep our communities safe and welcoming.

Responsibilities include cleaning grounds and offices, completing maintenance requests, appliance repairs, painting, turnovers, and handling emergency calls. On-call rotation and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in apartment maintenance on multi-unit properties is preferred.
• Strong customer service mindset and ability to work in a team.
• Reliable transportation and willingness to work on-call rotations.

Responsibilities

• Clean grounds, offices, and common areas.
• Complete maintenance service requests and appliance repairs.
• Paint and prepare units for turnovers.
• Handle emergency calls and perform tasks across trades (plumbing, electrical, HVAC).

The ideal candidate will have experience in all trades and be very customer service focused. Some duties will include cleaning grounds, offices, common areas, completing maintenance service requests, appliance repairs, painting, apartment turnovers, taking emergency calls and more!

Qualifications

• Prefer at least 2 years experience in apartment maintenance on 200 unit property!
• Experience in all trades (plumbing, electrical, a/c, etc.) a must!
• Customer service attitude, flexibility and the ability to work in a team environment are key to making this position a success!
• Reliable transportation is a MUST!
• Availability to work on-call rotation.
