Job summary

Adecco is assisting a local client in Fort Worth, TX in their search for a Maintenance Technician for the 2nd shift. The role offers a $32.00 per hour pay rate and includes access to Adecco’s Aspire Academy for upskilling.

The successful candidate will install, maintain, and repair machinery and related systems, troubleshoot issues, and complete routine and emergency work orders while keeping the maintenance area clean and organized.

Qualifications

• 2+ years maintenance mechanic technician experience or relevant technical training/certification.
• Proficient mechanical knowledge and skills in electrical, welding and fabrication, utilities, and basic PLCS.
• High School Diploma or GED.
• Basic computer skills.
• Preferred - GMP experience in food manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, structures, and pipe/electrical systems in the facility; set up and use machine tools to repair or fabricate parts.
• Troubleshoot issues and repairs to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness of production and facility equipment.
• Complete assigned work orders and unplanned/emergency tasks as required.
• Maintain maintenance area in a clean and orderly fashion; use maintenance systems to complete daily/weekly/monthly duties; operate material handling equipment safely.
• Document work order information/completion; support predictive and preventative maintenance programs; assist plant initiatives to minimize downtime and optimize the plant.

Responsibilities:

• Install, maintain, and repair machinery, equipment, physical structures, and pipe and electricalsystems in the facility. Set up and use machine tools such as lathe, grinder, drill press and milling machine to repair or fabricate parts

• Troubleshoot issues, repair failures of production and facility equipment to ensure maximumefficiency and effectiveness

• Complete assigned work orders and unplanned/emergency tasks as required

• Maintain maintenance area in a clean and orderly fashion. Utilize maintenance systems as necessary to complete daily, weekly, monthly duties. Operate material handling equipment safely

• Document work order information/completion. Provide support to team in the predictive and preventative maintenance program. Participate and actively support all plant initiatives such as minimizing or eliminating downtime and ensuring plant optimization

Requirements:

• 2+ years maintenance mechanic technician experience or relevant technical training/certification

• Proficient mechanical knowledge and skills one or more of the following maintenance classification: electrical, welding and fabrication, utilities, and basic PLCS

• High School Diploma or GED

• Basic computer skills

• Preferred - Any experience in food manufacturing and knowledgeable in Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP)

Pay Details: $32.00 per hour
