Caring Places Management in South Beach, OR is hiring a Maintenance Technician to help keep our senior communities safe and welcoming. You will support safe practices, handle repairs across mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems, and coordinate projects with Administration and the home office.

The role is full-time, Mon-Fri 8am-4:30pm with on-call as needed; starting wage $25/hour DOE. We value a strong safety mindset, good communication, customer service, and the ability to lift 50 pounds

Formación

• Criminal background check is required.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and pass MVR check.
• Willing to work nights and weekends for emergencies.
• Must follow safety and OSHA regulations.
• Working knowledge of building maintenance and upkeep.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Strong commitment to customer service.
• Computer skills.
• Able to lift, push, and pull 50 pounds routinely.
• Able to bend, stoop, twist, kneel, reach and climb ladders.

Responsabilidades

• Support safe practices, infection control, and residents’ rights.
• Coordinate maintenance projects with Administrator/Office Manager and home office.
• Ensure compliance with AHJ.
• Perform repairs and maintenance on mechanical, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Respond promptly to maintenance requests.
• Provide or coordinate routine grounds maintenance.
• Ensure all safety equipment is in proper working order.
• Provide finish work, surface repair, painting.
• Assist in planning and implementing large projects.
• Document work per home office requirements.
• Be willing to assist in other departments.
