Holladay Park Plaza, Inc. in Portland, OR is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to care for our not-for-profit Life Plan Community.

You will perform preventive maintenance, handle basic electrical/plumbing repairs, and respond to urgent building needs while keeping residents safe and comfortable. Expect a 6:00–2:30 schedule Sun–Thu, with competitive hourly pay ($24–$29 DOE) and a benefits package including medical, vision, 401(k), PTO, and more.

Qualifications

• Minimum of one year of experience in carpentry, building maintenance, general repair, or a related field.
• Ability to safely use ladders, hand tools, shop equipment, and maintenance tools.
• CPR/AED and First Aid certification upon hire or within 90 days of hire preferred.
• Knowledge of electrical, plumbing, mechanical, and general building maintenance systems.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills with experience using maintenance management software preferred.

Responsabilités

• Perform preventative maintenance, repairs, and minor improvements throughout the community, including drywall repair, light painting, and general building maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and complete basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repairs to support safe and efficient operations.
• Respond to maintenance requests, community alarms, emergency calls, and urgent building needs in a timely and professional manner.
• Maintain clean, organized work areas and ensure tools and equipment are kept in good working order.
• Provide outstanding customer service to residents while supporting community safety and emergency response procedures.
