Job summary

Evergreen Senior Living in Michigan's Upper Peninsula is seeking a Building Maintenance team member to perform routine upkeep, repairs, and safety inspections. You will handle painting, plumbing, electrical work, carpentry, and HVAC checks to keep our facility welcoming for residents and staff.

This part-time, in-person position requires at least a high school diploma, 1+ year facilities experience, and the ability to lift 50+ lbs.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of building systems (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, carpentry).
• Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues and perform repairs safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine maintenance tasks including painting, plumbing, electrical repairs, carpentry, and HVAC checks.
• Conduct regular inspections of building systems for safety and functionality.
• Respond to maintenance requests and work orders from staff or residents.
