Job summary

Saint Mary Home in West Hartford, CT, part of Trinity Health Senior Communities, is hiring a Maintenance Technician to keep residents safe and comfortable by performing routine repairs on doors, lighting, plumbing, and building systems. This full-time day-shift role requires hands-on skills and a commitment to quality care.

You’ll work with staff and vendors, handle room setups, and support campus operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 2+ years of building maintenance or repair experience.
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical and mechanical systems.

Responsibilities

• Handle basic repairs to doors, lights, and plumbing.
• Maintain heating and cooling and other building systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests from staff and residents.
• Assist with room setups and furniture moves.
• Coordinate with outside vendors when needed.
