Zusammenfassung

The Artisan at Hudson is seeking a Maintenance Assistant to support the Director of Building Operations in maintaining the community’s physical plant, safety, cleanliness and resident comfort.

You will perform preventive maintenance, assist with electrical, plumbing, carpentry tasks, housekeeping coordination, and safety compliance, while delivering compassionate service to residents and families. This role requires teamwork and physical endurance in a senior living environment.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ year of maintenance, building operations, or housekeeping experience.
• Basic knowledge of electrical, plumbing, and structural repairs.
• Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions.
• Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills.
• Clear oral and written communication; able to interact with residents and staff.
• Physically able to perform manual labor outdoors and indoors.
• Compassionate, respectful, and committed to serving older adults.

Aufgaben

• Assist the Director of Building Operations with maintenance and housekeeping.
• Coordinate maintenance and housekeeping with other departments.
• Complete tasks timely, prioritizing urgent repairs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regs and company policies.
• Drive and maintain community van as needed.
• Support engagement activities by keeping spaces in working order.
