Job summary

South Port Square in Port Charlotte, FL is seeking a Maintenance Tech to upkeep residential apartments and common areas, performing routine and emergency repairs across plumbing, electrical and HVAC systems. The role supports residents and staff and is part of a dedicated maintenance team.

Join LCS’s community-focused environment with on-call overtime as needed. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, salary starts at $17 per hour, plus benefits and a comprehensive rewards

Qualifications

Residential building maintenance knowledge including plumbing, electrical, flooring and appliances.
HVAC knowledge is required.
Ability to communicate effectively with residents and staff.

Responsibilities

Performs routine and emergency repairs in residential apartments and public areas, including electrical, plumbing, fixtures, doors and lighting.
Responds to HVAC malfunctions and performs simple repairs; handles emergency calls as needed.
Completes work orders with detailed task and equipment information and supports other maintenance staff on campus projects.
Maintains supplies and works overtime as needed to ensure timely completion of tasks.
