Job summary

Legend Senior Living is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team. You will perform maintenance and repairs to keep residents’ environment safe and attractive, including electrical, HVAC and general systems. Some evenings/weekends may be required based on needs.

You will document work orders, interact with residents and staff, and support inventory, safety checks, and vendor oversight while upholding our quality standards and care-driven culture.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related trade or position, preferably with expertise in electrical, HVAC and repairs and/or maintenance.
• Ability to operate a motor vehicle as part of service and delivery requirements.

Responsibilities

• Regularly walking throughout the residence and grounds to check equipment, maintain appearance, and ensure safety
• Completing and documenting work orders as assigned by the Maintenance Director, including maintenance and repairs for the building, grounds and equipment
• Following troubleshooting, reporting to the Maintenance Director any parts or supplies needed to complete repairs
• Assisting the Director with completion and documentation of inventory, preventative maintenance, warranties, inspections, and overseeing work performed by outside vendors
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
