Job summary

MBK Senior Living is hiring a Maintenance Assistant to help care for the interior and exterior of our community. You will follow guidelines from the Director of Environmental Services and perform routine maintenance tasks across floors, bathrooms, walls, and common areas to keep the property safe and inviting.

The role requires physical activity, basic repairs, and adherence to PPE, safety procedures, and chemical handling guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background clearances as required by regulations.
• Health screening and negative TB test within 6 months.
• Valid driver's license for vehicle/van(s) capacity.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, clean, and repair equipment and property as directed by work orders.
• Follow safety signs and keep work areas free of hazards; store tools after use.
• Use PPE and report health, safety, or sanitation concerns.
• Monitor security of the community, including entry/exit doors.
• Keep maintenance and storage areas clean, labeled, and organized.
