Job summary

Mesa Public Schools is seeking a Utility Worker - Maintenance in Mesa, AZ to perform maintenance, repairs and installations on equipment not requiring journeyman skills. Immediate start with a full-time schedule (40 hours per week).

Applicants should have a High School education or equivalent, a valid Arizona driver’s license, and maintenance experience. Benefits include retirement, health and life insurance, paid leave, and annual performance pay.

Qualifications

• High School education or equivalent required.
• Valid Arizona driver's license required.
• Experience in maintenance field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Travel throughout the district assisting journeymen with assigned tasks.
• Perform maintenance, repairs and installations on equipment not requiring journeyman skills.
• Rotate between operations shops according to Director of Maintenance.
• Regular and on-time attendance required.
• Perform other related duties to ensure efficient operation of the work unit.
• Assist with other assigned duties as appropriate to the area and Mesa Public Schools.
