Job summary

Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa in Georgia is seeking a Maintenance Technician to help maintain the resort’s facilities, safety, and functionality. You will perform inspections, repairs, and preventive maintenance to keep guest experiences seamless.

The role requires basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical knowledge, with a focus on troubleshooting, reliability, and safe tool use. A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Experience in maintenance or facilities is preferred.
• Knowledge of basic HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems is required.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems independently.
• Good communication and reliability are important.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues quickly and efficiently.
• Complete general repairs including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and basic electrical work.
• Assist with HVAC and mechanical system upkeep.
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
• Respond to maintenance requests from departments and guests.
• Maintain accurate maintenance logs and reports.
• Support a safe environment for guests and team members.
