Job summary

Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa is seeking a Maintenance Technician for a 2:00pm–10:00pm shift. You will perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance, and repairs across plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC systems to keep the resort safe and welcoming.

The role requires troubleshooting skills, independence, physical stamina, and a customer-service mindset. Benefits include meals, golf privileges, and resort discounts.

Qualifications

What You\'ll Do

• As a Maintenance Technician, you\'ll help ensure our resort remains safe, beautiful, and fully operational by:
• Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance
• Troubleshooting and repairing maintenance issues promptly and efficiently
• Completing general repairs, including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and basic electrical work

What We\'re Looking For

• Previous maintenance, facilities, or building maintenance experience preferred
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Ability to perform physical work, including lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods
• Strong attention to detail and dependable work ethic
• Positive attitude with a team-first approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
• Valid driver\'s license required
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
