Job summary

Brasstown Valley Resort & Spa is seeking a Maintenance Technician for the 2:00pm–10:00pm shift to help keep the resort safe, beautiful, and fully operational. This role involves routine inspections, troubleshooting, and a variety of repairs across plumbing, carpentry, electrical, and HVAC systems.

The ideal candidate has prior maintenance experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to work independently.

Qualifications

• Prior maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Working knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, electrical, or mechanical systems.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Physically able to perform lifting, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Good attention to detail and dependable work ethic.
• Customer service skills and a team-first attitude.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Troubleshoot and repair maintenance issues promptly.
• Complete general repairs including plumbing, painting, carpentry, and basic electrical work.
• Assist with HVAC and mechanical system maintenance.
• Safely operate hand and power tools.
• Respond to maintenance requests from guests and resort departments.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records and logs.
• Support a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and team members.
