Madison Communities in Savannah, GA, is seeking a hands-on Maintenance Technician to perform daily maintenance and respond to service requests, ensuring apartments are move-in ready.

You’ll work on HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and carpentry tasks, collaborating with a team and delivering exceptional service in a resident-focused environment.

Qualifications

• HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and mechanical systems knowledge.
• Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
• Team-oriented with good communication.
• 1+ year of maintenance experience (multifamily preferred).
• HVAC, EPA, CPO certifications are a plus.
• Must be at least 18 with a HS diploma.

Responsibilities

• Providing outstanding customer service to residents and teammates.
• Handling day-to-day maintenance including painting, plumbing, electrical fixtures, HVAC, carpentry, and general repairs.
• Responding quickly and professionally to service requests.
• Ensuring apartments are safe, functional, and move-in ready.
• Working with vendors on specialized projects like landscaping and asphalt repairs.
• Keeping tools, equipment, and work areas safe and organized.
