Qualifications

• Experience as a Maintenance Technician in manufacturing.
• Strong fault-finding and repair skills.
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems.
• Commitment to safe working practices.
• 5+ years of experience in industrial/manufacturing maintenance.
• Knowledge of CMMS systems.
• Multi-skilled maintenance (lasers, robots, presses, conveyors, PLCs, VFDs).
• Experience with fabrication processes (welding, cutting, machining)

Position Purpose

The Skilled Maintenance Technician maintains, diagnoses and repairs manufacturing equipment to minimise downtime and support continuous, safe production. We are seeking a reliable multi‑craft skilled maintenance technician to perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on equipment and facilities. Candidate should ensure work is performed at a high safety standard and support root cause analysis to ensure continuous improvement.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities & Key Accountabilities

• Perform planned and reactive maintenance on machinery and equipment
• Diagnose faults and complete effective repairs
• Work on mechanical, electrical, pneumatic and/or hydraulic systems
• Interpret technical drawings, manuals and schematics
• Support installation, commissioning and testing of new equipment
• Record maintenance activities, faults and corrective actions

Minimum Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician in a manufacturing environment
• Strong fault‑finding and repair skills
• Knowledge of mechanical and/or electrical systems
• Commitment to safe working practices

• Must pass any drug screens, background checks, and any pre‑employment tests, which will be conducted in accordance with applicable law.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in industrial, or manufacturing maintenance
• Knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS)
• Multi‑skilled maintenance experience (lasers, robots, presses, conveyors, PLC’s, VFD’s, etc.)
• Experience with fabrication processes (welding, cutting, machining)
• Experience supporting continuous improvement initiatives

• Must be able to work flexible schedule, including Friday - Sunday 6am -6pm
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 10lbs, frequently and/or move up to 35lbs, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 50lbs.
• Must be able to perform continuous, repetitious physical activities. These activities may involve fine movements or large motions.
• Must be able to grasp/pinch small items, reach out and up, and turn wrist.
• Must be capable of keeping pace with current production speed.
• Must be able to push/pull with reasonable force.
• Must be able to perform the following requirements of bending, stooping, climbing, kneeling, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Must be able to work in multiple climates including hot/cold temperatures, and dusty environment.

• The employee may need to work on elevated access platforms when necessary.
• Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
