Job summary

TW Metals LLC is seeking a maintenance technician to ensure safe and reliable operation of manufacturing equipment and facility systems at our Carol Stream, IL site. You will perform repairs, inspections, and routine adjustments, while managing preventive maintenance and coordinating with production teams.

Candidates should be able to lift 50 lbs, work 8 hours, and pass background checks, with a focus on safety and documentation.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Ability to read schematics, drawings, and manuals.
• Experience in preventive maintenance and safety culture.
• Successful background check and drug screen.
• Team-oriented with effective communication.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency repairs, daily inspections, and routine adjustments.
• Manage preventive maintenance schedule.
• Maintain building equipment including compressed air, forklifts, hydraulics.
• Communicate with production to identify issues.
• Maintain documentation and inspection records.
• Contribute to safety-oriented culture.
• Perform other duties as assigned by operations manager.
