Job summary

Technetics Group is seeking a Maintenance Technician to ensure the functionality and safety of equipment and facilities in our Illinois plant. You will support production by minimizing downtime through timely maintenance and repairs, while keeping detailed records and following safety protocols.

The role requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience, exposure to electrical, mechanical systems, and proficient use of hand and power tools.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Vocational training or certification in relevant field preferred.
• 1-3 years of experience in general maintenance or related field.
• Basic knowledge of maintenance procedures and safety practices.
• Basic proficiency with hand and power tools.
• Ability to read and interpret simple diagrams and manuals.
• Understanding of basic mechanical and electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine but diversified maintenance tasks.
• Install and maintain production machines and plant facilities.
• Diagnose problems, repair/replace parts, test and adjust.
• Perform regular preventative maintenance on machines and facilities.
• Assist in inspection and troubleshooting of equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report findings.
• Ensure safety regulations compliance and maintain a clean work environment.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area per 5S standards.
