Job summary

TW Metals, LLC in Carol Stream, IL seeks a maintenance technician responsible for safety, equipment repairs, and modifying all manufacturing machines and facility equipment.

You will communicate with production staff, participate in a safety-oriented culture, and perform routine inspections, emergency repairs, and building equipment maintenance. Qualifications

• Must work effectively in a team setting.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs., stand for 8 hours/day, and walk, sit, stand, bend, kneel, crouch or crawl.
• Ability to understand schematics, drawings, and machinery manuals.
• Successfully complete a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Perform emergency repairs, daily inspections, and routine adjustments.
• Responsible for maintenance of building equipment, including compressed air, forklifts, metal production saws, hydraulics, and building safety equipment.
• Communicate with production personnel to identify problematic areas of concern.
• Participate in creating a safety-oriented culture.
• Perform other duties as required or assigned by the operations manager.
