Job summary

Amrize is seeking a Maintenance Technician who travels across multiple project footprints in the United States to perform mechanical repairs, electrical diagnostics, and preventative maintenance on portable plant structures.

You will report to the regional Maintenance Manager, work with the Batch Plant Superintendent, and follow strict safety protocols including LOTO, PPE, and confined-space safety while keeping equipment and sites organized and compliant.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of specialized training in technical school or apprenticeship.
• 3-4 years of mechanical repair and installation experience in a plant or industrial setting.
• Working knowledge of basic electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
• Ability to use welding and machining equipment safely.

Responsibilities

• Execute mechanical repairs and diagnostics across multiple project footprints.
• Maintain and repair machinery components including central wet drums, tilt systems, drum liners, weigh hoppers, pneumatics, and conveyors.
• Follow safety protocols and LOTO procedures while performing field maintenance.
• Complete daily equipment inspections, parts usage registries, and work orders for the Maintenance Manager.
• Report to the regional Maintenance Manager and coordinate with the Batch Plant Superintendent.
