AIR Communities is hiring a Maintenance Technician for Hidden Cove, a 334-unit community in Escondido, CA. This full-time role emphasizes resident service, basic repairs, and preventive maintenance with growth opportunities through AIR’s development programs.

Compensation ranges from $24.00 to $26.00 per hour, plus monthly bonuses up to $250 and a 50% rent discount at any AIR Community. Applicants should have at least two years of maintenance experience and be able to work flexible hours.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of maintenance experience.
• Proficient in at least two technical trades (plumbing, electrical, appliance repair, HVAC, carpentry, etc.).
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and on-call shifts.
• Reliable transportation to respond to emergencies.
• Ability to read, write, and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent service to residents and assist the team.
• Follow AIR’s process for apartment turns to ready units for move-in.
• Perform resident-requested repairs and routine maintenance.
• May train other technicians and support skill development.
• Assist with vendor quality and move-in/move-out inspections.
