Placements24 is seeking a dedicated Maintenance Technician to join our client's operations in Welkom. The role focuses on hands-on upkeep, repair, and installation of critical machinery and infrastructure with strong interaction with remote monitoring systems.

You will diagnose mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues, perform preventive maintenance, interpret diagnostic data from remote systems, and maintain detailed logs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Maintenance Technician or in a hands-on technical role.
• Strong mechanical, electrical, and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with interpreting data from remote monitoring or diagnostic systems is a plus.
• Ability to read and understand technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Proficiency in using hand and power tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Commitment to safety and quality workmanship.
