Job summary

The Dinerstein Companies seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician for our Mesa, AZ properties. You will report to the Service Manager and handle resident requests, maintenance tasks, and move-ins/move-outs, keeping communities in top condition.

You should have at least 1 year of on-site maintenance experience, ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, and a valid driver's license. HVAC/CPO certifications are preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a supportive team.

Qualifications

• 1 year of on-site maintenance experience required.
• Customer service experience on a property management team.
• Ability to troubleshoot HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems.
• Familiarity with building systems (lighting, boilers, ventilation).
• HVAC certification and CPO preferred may be required by city/state.

Responsibilities

• Address resident service requests as directed by the Service Manager.
• Document updates in the property management software.
• Repair or replace lights, filters, fans, paint to maintain appearance.
• Perform preventative maintenance on units and common areas.
• Assist team with landscaping, trash removal, and cleaning.
• Prepare vacant apartments for move-ins.
