Job summary

Bell Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Raleigh. You will perform interior and exterior maintenance across communities, respond to repair requests, and ensure safety and resident privacy.

The role requires 1–3 years of maintenance experience, HVAC/plumbing knowledge, and strong customer service and communication skills. HVAC/EPA/CPO certifications may be required in several communities, with opportunities for training and growth.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years old and a High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1-3 years of maintenance experience in a similar facility.
• Basic repair skills in HVAC, plumbing, electrical, carpentry and mechanical systems.
• HVAC, EPA and/or CPO certifications may be required in many communities.
• Excellent oral and written communication and strong customer service.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine interior and exterior maintenance for the community and equipment as scheduled.
• Respond to repair requests from residents and staff in a timely manner.
• Report equipment malfunctions and hazardous conditions to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain resident privacy and safety when entering apartments.
• Ensure maintenance items are stored safely to prevent injuries.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Coordinate with vendors for landscaping, painting, asphalt, and other tasks.
• Follow all safety/OSHA requirements and maintain regular attendance.
