Bell Partners is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our team in Garner, NC. The role involves a broad range of interior and exterior maintenance duties, from painting and plumbing to HVAC and electrical work, all under the supervision of a Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 1–3 years of maintenance experience in a similar facility preferred.
• Basic understanding and ability to repair HVAC, plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, and mechanical systems.
• HVAC, EPA, and/or CPO certifications may be required in many communities.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent customer service to residents and community staff.
• Perform routine interior and exterior community maintenance and equipment upkeep.
• Respond to repair requests and maintenance concerns from residents and staff.
• Report equipment malfunctions and hazardous conditions promptly to the Maintenance Supervisor.
• Maintain resident privacy and obtain proper authorization before entering apartments.
• Ensure maintenance items are kept in a safe area to prevent injuries.
• Attend in-service training and education sessions as assigned.
• Coordinate with vendors for landscaping, painting, asphalt, etc.
• Follow all safety/OSHA requirements and maintain regular attendance.
