Job summary

Flagship Communities REIT is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our manufactured home community to perform repairs, painting, plumbing and electrical work while keeping grounds in good condition.

Responsibilities include HVAC support, security/alarms checks, pest control, and budgeting assistance, with emphasis on safety and residents' service standards. A High school diploma or equivalent is required, CMRP is a plus, valid driver's license, and ability to work autonomously.

Qualifications

• Basic understanding of plumbing and other systems.
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
• Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and conduct repairs when necessary.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform manual repairs when necessary (fix locks, replace windows etc.).
• Undertake pest control activities such as spraying insecticide.
• Conduct general upkeep procedures and other tasks as assigned.
• Keep grounds and landscaping in tip-top shape.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure it is followed.
• Mow, weed eat and hedge trim; perform preventative maintenance and repairs of equipment.
