Job summary

Flagship Communities REIT is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our manufactured home community. The role covers painting, home remodeling, minor plumbing and electrical work, and landscaping as part of a hands-on maintenance team.

You will work under the Community Manager, perform repairs, upkeep, and safety checks, and help ensure a clean, safe living environment for residents. A high school diploma and reliable transportation are required.

Qualifications

• Must be physically capable of manual labor (lift, bend, reach).
• Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods.
• Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices.
• Able to observe health and safety guidelines and work autonomously.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting up ventilation, refrigeration and other systems and perform repairs as needed.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems (fire, protection) and schedule repairs when needed.
• Perform basic repairs (locks, windows, etc.).
• Carry out pest control tasks such as spraying insecticide.
• Conduct general upkeep and other assigned tasks.
• Keep grounds and landscaping well-maintained.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure compliance with it.
• Mow, weed eat, and hedge trim; maintain equipment.
