Job summary

Flagship Communities REIT seeks a hands-on Maintenance Technician for a manufactured home community. The role involves painting, remodeling, minor plumbing and electrical work, and site landscaping to maintain safe, attractive residents’ homes.

You will work under the Community Manager, performing preventive maintenance, basic repairs, and equipment upkeep while observing health and safety guidelines. Team collaboration is essential.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Experience in building maintenance or related field is a plus.
• CMRP certification is desirable for advancement.
• Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setup and repair of ventilation, refrigeration and other systems.
• Maintain heating and plumbing systems to ensure functionality.
• Inspect alarm systems and schedule repairs as needed.
• Perform manual repairs (locks, windows) and routine upkeep.
• Conduct pest control tasks and general groundskeeping.
• Assist in budget preparation and ensure adherence.
• Operate mowing, trimming and landscaping duties; maintain equipment.
