Job summary

Riverstone Communities is seeking Maintenance Technicians for Meadows Mobile Home Park in Melbourne, FL. The role involves plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and general repairs to maintain curb appeal and resident satisfaction.

The position requires 3+ years in property maintenance or related technical fields, plus lifting and outdoor work in all weather. A valid driver's license is needed; training and growth opportunities are offered.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in residential or commercial property maintenance OR in a technical field such as plumbing, electrical, HVAC
• 3+ years of experience in groundskeeping and/or landscaping
• 3+ years of experience in carpentry, painting, flooring, drywalling, installing windows and doors, roofing, or framing
• Ability to be very active - walking, bending, standing, and lifting up to 50 pounds
• Willing to work outside in all weather conditions
• Willingness to use technology/learn technology in a basic capacity
• Ability to legally operate a motor vehicle with a valid driver’s license

Responsibilities

• Plumbing work such as repairing or replacing faucets and toilets, operating a sewer cleanout auger, diagnosing and repairing a simple water leak
• Electrical work such as light fixtures, GFCI’s, replacing breakers and fuses, outlets and light switches
• Carpentry work such as building stairs and ramps, framing doors and windows, installing landscaping timbers
• Additional residential repairs including replacing/installing floors, installing siding and skirting, installing/replacing doors and windows, drywalling and painting
• Oversee the curb appeal of the community and groundskeeping
• Complete clean outs of homes
• Read water meters for each home
• Finish work orders promptly
• Take training classes online/virtually
• Complete day to day duties with minimal supervision
• Adhere to safety laws and regulations
• Conduct regular inventory checks on equipment and supplies
• Other duties as trained
