Job summary

Riverstone Communities LLC is seeking a Maintenance Technician for our Hobe Sound Mobile Home Park in Florida. The role includes plumbing, electrical, groundskeeping, and general property maintenance duties at the community.

You will help maintain curb appeal, complete work orders, and operate with minimal supervision in all weather conditions. Benefits include health plans, 401(k), PTO, and training opportunities.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of experience in general labor including groundskeeping, landscaping, property management maintenance.
• 1-2 years of experience in basic residential plumbing.
• Active and capable of manual work including walking, bending and lifting up to 50 pounds.
• Outdoor work in all weather conditions and comfortable with being outside.
• Willingness to learn technology at a basic level and use a vehicle for multiple locations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license to drive between locations on the property.

Responsibilities

• Plumbing work such as repairing or replacing faucets and toilets, operating a sewer cleanout auger, diagnosing and repairing a simple water leak
• Electrical work such as light fixtures, GFCIs, understanding lightbulb wattage, breakers and fuses, replacing outlets
• Oversee the curb appeal of the community and maintenance up to Riverstone Communities’ standards
• Complete clean outs of homes
• Finish work orders efficiently and in a timely manner
• Read water meters for each home
• Complete day-to-day duties with minimal supervision
• Adhere to all safety laws and regulations
• Conduct regular inventory checks on equipment and supplies
• Take training classes online/virtually via a computer or tablet
