Job summary

Avera Marshall Hospital is seeking a Maintenance Technician to perform general, mechanical and preventative maintenance tasks, including inspections, repairs and moving equipment across facilities. This PRN role may require weekend and holiday coverage and on-call responsibilities.

You will work as part of a multidisciplinary team, communicating with supervisors, maintaining records, and ensuring safe operation of boilers and building systems.

Qualifications

• High School or GED equivalent.
• MN Driver's License upon hire.
• Boiler Operator licensing within 180 days.
• 1–3 years of related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Consults with and keeps supervisor informed on progress and problems with assigned projects.
• Maintains all required records and pertinent information.
• Demonstrates ability to install and repair building components and systems.
• Operates and maintains boilers and takes appropriate action for safe operation.
• Ensures compliance with safety principles and standards.
