The Maintenance Technician at Avera Marshall Hospital is responsible for a variety of general, mechanical and preventative maintenance duties across facilities, including inspections, moving equipment, and ensuring safe operation of boilers.

You will perform carpentry tasks, install sheetrock and hardware, keep detailed records, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team. Requires high school diploma or GED, MN Driver's License, Boiler Operator license, and 1–3 years in a related field.

Qualifikationen

• Driver’s License (MN) required upon hire.
• Boiler Operator license required.
• 1–3 years of related maintenance experience.

• Consults with and informs supervisor on progress and any problems with assigned projects.
• Keeps and maintains all required records and pertinent information.
• Has knowledge of trends, standards, and legalities of practice and activities of department and facilities.
• Demonstrates ability to perform and finish carpentry work.
• Demonstrates ability to install sheetrock, plaster, metal studs and caulking.
• Demonstrates ability to install locks and other door and cabinet hardware.
• Demonstrates ability to assemble and install basic cabinetry and interpret drawings.
• Operates and maintains boilers and takes appropriate action for safe operation.
