Job summary

The Boulevard Post Acute is seeking a Maintenance Technician to join our facility. You will perform general maintenance across painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and other systems to keep residents safe and comfortable.

A strong emphasis on safety and quality care guides every task. Responsibilities include inspecting, troubleshooting, and repairing equipment, supporting preventative maintenance, and documenting activities using Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Three (3) years of general maintenance experience required.
• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience strongly preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency required (Word, Excel, Internet).
• Strong knowledge of building equipment, systems, and applicable building codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance and repair work across painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and other systems.
• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building equipment and systems.
• Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
• Maintain knowledge of building systems, equipment, and applicable codes.
• Document work orders and maintenance activities using Word/Excel.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly with focus on resident safety and comfort.
• Ensure work complies with safety procedures and regulatory standards.

Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician:

• Perform general maintenance and repair work, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems.

• Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.

• Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend system longevity.

• Maintain knowledge of building systems, equipment, and applicable building codes and regulations.

• Utilize basic computer systems (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, or similar platforms) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and communicate updates.

• Respond to maintenance requests promptly while prioritizing resident safety and comfort.

• Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:

• Three (3) years of general maintenance experience required, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or related trades.

• HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience strongly preferred.

• Basic computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet-based systems.

• Strong knowledge of building equipment, building systems, and applicable building codes.

• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
