Job summary

Marcella Post Acute is seeking a Maintenance Technician to keep our facility safe, clean, and well-maintained. You will perform general maintenance, repairs, and preventive tasks across building systems to support resident care and comfort.

Ideal candidates have at least three years of maintenance experience, with HVAC/plumbing/electrical skills preferred. A flexible schedule including day/evening/weekend shifts is required to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

  • Three years of general maintenance experience required, including trades such as painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical or HVAC.
  • HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience strongly preferred.
  • Basic computer proficiency with Word, Excel, and internet-based systems.

Responsibilities

  • Perform general maintenance and repairs across facility systems.
  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
  • Support preventive maintenance programs to reduce downtime.
  • Maintain knowledge of building systems and applicable codes.
  • Document work orders and updates using basic computer tools.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests while prioritizing safety.
  • Adhere to safety procedures and regulatory standards.

$22/hour

Responsibilities for Maintenance Technician:
  • Perform general maintenance and repair work, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, and other facility systems.

  • Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair building equipment and systems to ensure safe and efficient operation.

  • Support preventative maintenance programs to reduce equipment downtime and extend system longevity.

  • Maintain knowledge of building systems, equipment, and applicable building codes and regulations.

  • Utilize basic computer systems (Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, or similar platforms) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and communicate updates.

  • Respond to maintenance requests promptly while prioritizing resident safety and comfort.

  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with safety procedures, facility policies, and regulatory standards.

Qualifications for Maintenance Technician:
  • Three (3) years of general maintenance experience required, including painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, HVAC, or related trades.

  • HVAC, plumbing, and electrical experience strongly preferred.

  • Basic computer proficiency required, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and internet-based systems.

  • Strong knowledge of building equipment, building systems, and applicable building codes.

  • Ability to work a flexible schedule, including day, evening, weekend, and holiday shifts as needed.
