Job summary

EssilorLuxottica is seeking a Maintenance Technician to service facility equipment in the Baltimore area. The role focuses on preventative maintenance, electrical and mechanical repairs, and safety compliance to support production needs.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years of relevant experience, understands schematics, and can operate CMMS and basic PLC concepts. A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate degree preferred. Overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience troubleshooting manufacturing equipment.
• Experience with electronic test equipment (multimeter, amp meter).
• Basic understanding of PLC operation.
• Proficient with CMMS and maintenance documentation.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Excellent attendance and overtime flexibility.
• Valid driver’s license preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventative maintenance on facility equipment.
• Complete general facility maintenance: painting, cleaning, HVAC, electrical.
• Disassemble, clean, test, and adjust equipment.
• Perform minor electronic repair and calibration.
• Use hand and power tools to maintain machinery.
• Record safety audits and support safety initiatives.
• Maintain inventory of parts in CMMS.
• Take on special projects as needed.
