Job summary

Cardinal Group is seeking a Maintenance Team Member (Full-Time, Non-Exempt) in Lawrence, KS to protect, maintain, and enhance the community value while maximizing residents’ living experience. Responsibilities include timely work order responses and on-call rotations to uphold safety and quality standards.

This role requires 3-5 years of maintenance experience with pool knowledge; lifting 75 lbs and 8-12 hour shifts are expected, including weekend availability and adherence to Cardinal Core

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of maintenance experience.
• Excellent customer service skills, attention to detail and basic maintenance skills.
• Working knowledge of pool service and maintenance.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Lift minimum 75 lbs and work 8-12 hour shifts.
• Must be able to work weekends and be available for on-call emergencies.
• Demonstrates Cardinal Culture and Cardinal Core Values daily.

Responsibilities

• Maintains the facility and grounds per community objectives.
• Operates, maintains and repairs equipment in health, safety and OSHA compliance.
• Responds to work orders promptly; participates in on-call rotation.
• Inspects public areas and resident apartments to ensure maintenance standards.
• Complies with air conditioning/refrigeration record-keeping requirements.
• Maintains water quality and sanitation for pools/spas.
• Keeps storage areas, tools, and equipment secure.
• Participates in Cardinal U training as required.
