Job summary

Maker's Pride is seeking a Maintenance Technician for its Geneva, IL facility. The role involves mechanical/electrical work, PLC troubleshooting, and preventive maintenance to keep plant equipment running, with an emphasis on safety and GMP-compliant procedures.

Responsibilities include diagnosing issues, reading manuals, ordering parts, and coordinating with the maintenance team. Starting pay varies by level, with 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts and a sign-on bonus incentive for new hires.

Qualifications

• 2-year trades degree or 4 years plant maintenance experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be 18 years of age.
• Able to read, write and speak English; bilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct maintenance according to skill level and safety policies and procedures.
• Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
• Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
• Detect faulty operations, report unusual situations to maintenance manager.
• Utilize Microsoft Office to order and schedule parts and jobs.
• Perform work safely and follow GMPs at all times.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
