Job summary

Accurate Personnel LLC in Crystal Lake, IL is hiring a Maintenance Technician to perform preventive maintenance, troubleshoot and repair equipment, and support safe and efficient plant operations.

Ideal candidates have hands-on mechanical and/or electrical maintenance experience, strong troubleshooting skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The role offers a starting salary of $85,000 per year with overtime potential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of industrial maintenance experience.
• Strong electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls troubleshooting skills.
• Experience with PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motor controls, and industrial automation.
• Able to read schematics, blueprints, diagrams and technical manuals.
• CMMS experience preferred.
• Ability to work overtime, weekends, and emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Lead advanced troubleshooting and repairs of electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and control systems.
• Perform preventive and predictive maintenance, inspections, rebuilds, alignments, and equipment repairs.
• Troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, motor controls, sensors, and automation systems.
• Diagnose equipment failures, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions to reduce downtime.
• Support equipment installations, commissioning, startups, and production uptime.
• Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
• Maintain accurate CMMS records and repair documentation.
• Improve maintenance procedures, equipment reliability, and preventive maintenance programs.
• Mentor junior technicians and collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Quality, and Safety teams.
• Follow and enforce safety procedures, including LOTO, electrical safety, PPE, fall protection, and confined space requirements.
